In this interactive board game, children explore different environments, identify needs, and find solutions using tokens and situational cards.

  • Dice or Spinner: Use a die or create a simple spinner.

Implementation

Kira and Miro introduce the game by explaining that each environment on the board holds situations where someone or something needs help. Kira asks, "Can you help find the right solutions?" and Miro adds, "Let’s explore together!"

  • Players take turns rolling the die or spinning the spinner to move across the board.
  • When a player lands on a space, they pick a situation card from the environment they landed in (e.g., "Park" or "Farm").
  • The player describes the situation on the card, such as "The dog is thirsty" or "The flowers need water."
  • Using their imagination and reasoning, the player selects an appropriate token to address the need (e.g., "water" for the thirsty dog).

Reflection

At the end of the game, KIra and Miro gather the players to discuss:

  • Which solutions were easy to find? Which were harder?
  • What did you learn about the needs of people, animals, and plants?

Miro concludes by emphasizing how small actions can help meet the needs of others.

Variations and Additional Ideas

Team Play

Divide into teams. One member rolls the die, another describes the situation, and a third selects a solution.

Creative Role-Play

Encourage children to act out the scenarios on the cards, bringing more engagement to the game.
